Application of oil-soluble aniline black_Kain Industrial Additive

Background and overview[1]

Solvent Black 7 is also called oil-soluble aniline black. It is a dye and pigment with ultra-fine black particles and is soluble in grease and paraffin. It is mainly used for rubber shoe polish, but can also be used for latex. It can be prepared by compressing aniline, nitrobenzene and hydrochloric acid at high temperature in the presence of ferric chloride and then neutralizing with alkali.

Apply[2-3]

Oil-soluble aniline black is a black dye produced directly on cotton fabrics and insoluble in common solvents. Widely used in dyeing and printing of cotton fabrics. When dyeing, the cotton fabric is first immersed in a solution prepared with aniline salt, etc., and then oxidized to dye it black. The dye can withstand sunlight and rain, and is resistant to hot soap solutions and dilute bleach solutions. When excessively oxidized, it turns blue-black and can easily cause brittleness. It can turn green when it is insufficiently oxidized or reduced. Mainly used for coloring ink, grease, rubber toys, and plastic products; used for coloring furniture paint, shoe polish, floor wax, car wax, and grease; used for polyolefins, with a heat resistance of up to 200°C, exceeding 100% in soft PVC. Blooming phenomenon occurs at a certain concentration; it can also be used for coloring elastomers and rubber; it can be used for coloring the original pulp of viscose fibers and viscosesponges, and its light resistance is level 4-5.

The specific applications are as follows:

1) Prepare an alcohol-soluble black dye formula with high color intensity, low viscosity and high tinting power. The formula includes: a) 20-45wt% propanol solvent; b) 30-35wt% Oil-soluble aniline black; c) 20-40 wt% carboxylic acid; d) 1-6 wt% dye; e) 1-3 wt% basic crystal violet, methyl violet base, or mixtures thereof; and f) selectivity Ground, 0-5wt% ester co-solvent. This dye formula is particularly suitable for writing instruments such as felt nibs and ballpoint pens.

2) Prepare an anti-mildew black shoe polish, which is characterized by: including the following components by weight: 20-30 parts of walnut oil, 15-20 parts of tea tree oil, 2-5 parts of oxidized polyethylene wax, crude 5-10 parts of montan wax, 20-30 parts of eucalyptus oil, 1-5 parts of oil-soluble aniline black, 1-2 parts of basil extract, 5-10 parts of antifungal agent, and the balance water. The anti-mold black shoe polish provided evaporates quickly when applied to leather shoes, is not easily stained with gray, has good gloss and can prevent leather shoes from getting moldy.
