Solubility/ Dilution
Generally speaking, Desmodul L75 has good compatibility with the following solvents, but the storage stability of its diluted solutions must be tested. It can be dissolved in ester solvents such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, propylene glycol methyl ether acetate, toluene, xylene, Slovesso® 100 and Slovesso® A, etc. However, it cannot be dissolved in petroleum in solvent oil.
Alcoholic solvents will react with DESLMODU L75 and therefore cannot be used as thinners. Long-term storage of low solid content resin solutions may cause turbidity and precipitation. Polyurethane grade solvents (water content less than 0.05%) must be used and must not contain active ingredients.
Compatibility
Desmodol L75 is compatible with many polyesters, polyethers and polyacrylates, as well as various Desmodul curing agents.
Application
Coatings formulated with Desmodu L75 can be used for coating furniture, floors, metal, paper, plastics and mineral substrates.
Save
Desmodu L75 is sensitive to moisture. Therefore, it must be stored in the original, completely sealed packaging. The recommended storage temperature is 0°C to 30°C. Storage at high temperatures will cause the viscosity to increase. Desmodol L75 remains stable for at least six months when stored under appropriate conditions.
