On November 27, the Department of Ecology and Environment of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region plans to make a decision on the environmental impact report of the 200,000 tons/year natural gas production BDO project of Xinjiang Baicheng Longyu New Materials Co., Ltd.

Construction contents: The main contents of this project include: 2 sets of 100,000 tons/year BDO units, 1 set of 70,000 tons/year acetylene units, 1 set of 300,000 tons/year methanol units, and 2 sets of 240,000 tons/year formaldehyde units ( Formaldehyde is calculated as 37%) and supporting facilities.
Xinjiang Baicheng Longyu New Materials Co., Ltd. covers an overall area of 142.5hm2, divided into two boundary areas: north and south. This project is located in the southern boundary area (75.46hm2). The land is divided into eight functional zones, namely the torch area, the thermal center, Sewage treatment area, storage and transportation area, BDO device area, natural gas acetylene area, methanol and formaldehyde synthesis area, auxiliary facilities area; this project shares the thermal center, sewage treatment area, storage and transportation area and other public auxiliary facilities with the coking ethylene glycol project . The northern boundary area is reserved for the coking ethylene glycol project. It is mainly divided into four functional areas, namely the coking unit area, the warehouse area, the 200,000 tons/year ethylene glycol unit area and the factory front area. This project is the same as the coking ethylene glycol area. The glycol project shares the warehouse area and the factory front area.
Xinjiang Baicheng Longyu New Materials Co., Ltd. was established on December 15, 2021. It is a joint venture established by Xinjiang Yuneng Investment Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Henan Energy and Chemical Industry Group, and Baicheng County Urban and Rural Construction Investment and Development (Group) Co., Ltd. The company is located in West of Jinhui Road, Baicheng County Industrial Park New Area, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The company is mainly engaged in coking; sales of coal and products; production of chemical products; sales of chemical products; technical services, technology development, technical consultation, technology exchange, technology transfer, and technology promotion.
