Withstand™ product portfolio adds new levels of antimicrobial and antifungal additives. These new grades of antimicrobial agents are designed to improve the performance of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) film laminate products and equipment where preventing microbial growth is critical.

Cesa Withstand additives contain organic and inorganic ingredients that inhibit the growth of bacteria, mold and fungi on plastic surfaces and provide excellent antibacterial properties. In international standards (including JIS
Extensive testing conducted under 2801) confirmed that this product can effectively reduce bacterial activity on TPU film laminated plastic and fabric surfaces. The additive also passed the stringent antifungal test of JIS Z 2911 standard.
Avant launches two new grades of Cesa for TPU films
Withstand antimicrobial additives address the specific antimicrobial and mold protection needs of applications such as medical beds, clear tent components and ice packs. These antimicrobial additives can be further developed into other applications such as portable energy storage, protective equipment, outdoor clothing and inflatable sleeping pads. Both products are currently produced in Asia and available globally.
