Properties and stability
1. Basic properties
White or light yellow needle-like or rhombohedral crystals. Easily soluble in methanol, ethanol, acetic acid, acetone and alkali, soluble in about 30 parts of boiling water, slightly soluble in cold water, very slightly soluble in dilute mineral acid, insoluble in ether and ethyl acetate. Melting point ≥300℃. Toxic, LD50 (�Rat, oral) 155mg/kg.

Synthesis method
1. Obtained from nitration of p-hydroxyphenylarsonic acid.
