BASF joins forces with Teamplas to give waste a new lease of life

● Teamplas converts post-consumer waste into raw materials that can be used in high-end application scenarios

November 14, 2023 – BASF has entered into a partnership with Teamplas Group, Southeast Asia’s leading recycled plastics manufacturer, to use BASF
IrgaCycle®, turns post-consumer waste into new high-quality office equipment and automotive interior parts.

Thailand has a huge recycling network for household products, electrical and electronic equipment and automobile waste. The recycled waste can be used to produce recycled plastics and further used in electrical products. To meet growing customer demand for high-quality recycled resin, Teammplas
The decision was made to use BASF’s IrgaCycle® to improve the poor compatibility of polyolefin plastics when blended with other polymers and to significantly reduce thermal and mechanical stress during the recycling process.
