Teijin launches Microft™ AR, a seamless knit designed for outdoor sports made from recycled polyester

Frontier), recently launched Microft™ AR, a seamless knitted product specially designed for outdoor sports. This innovative garment combines mild warmth and stress-free comfort with high functionality. The garment is made from newly developed high-performance polyester fiber.

Microft™ AR uses specialized DELTAPEAk™ processed yarn as the core yarn, forming a high-density coil structure that provides excellent thermal insulation and prevents fiber shedding. The pile is made from Teijin Frontier’s proprietary polyester filament, which provides a variety of functions. Low-gauge seamless knitwear made from this fleece yarn offers a unique fit – stress-free, soft, lightweight and warm, with added features such as sweat-wicking, quick-drying and high breathability.

Microft™ AR is an environmentally friendly product made entirely from 100% recycled polyester. It shows limited appearance changes after repeated washing and wear, ensuring long-term use and minimizing fiber shedding that can lead to microplastic contamination.
