Strengthening decarbonization measures to promote “carbon neutrality”
As a responsible manufacturing company, while pioneering innovation, Arkema is also committed to protecting the climate and reducing the carbon footprint of its production and operations. In recent years, the Group has repeatedly refreshed its climate plan, strengthened decarbonization measures, and moved towards the 2050 net-zero carbon goal.
By 2030, the Group aims to achieve an ambitious climate plan: “Scope 1” and “Scope 2” greenhouse gas emissions will be reduced by 48.5% compared with 2019, and “Scope 3” emissions will be reduced by 54% compared with 2019. The plan It has also been awarded the SBTi by the international organization
