After a one-year construction cycle, Wanhua Chemical's 50,000 tons/year water-based resin project in Wanhua Ningbo Daxie Island Intelligent Logistics Park (Weier Park) in Ningbo Daxie Development Zone was completed and successfully put into operation. It is understood that Wanhua Chemical Ningbo’s 50,000 tons/year water-based resin project has a total investment of 630 million yuan (including public auxiliary projects).

The project's water-based polyurethane products include two series, namely water-based polyurethane dispersion (PUD) and modified water-based polyurethane dispersion (PUA). Both series of products are produced using the acetone method.
Water-based epoxy resin
Epoxy resin is an important component of water-based epoxy coatings. Epoxy resin contains a large number of polar groups such as hydroxyl groups and ether bonds. It has excellent adhesion to metal substrates and contains benzene rings, C-C segments and other groups. The group gives it better heat resistance, corrosion resistance and toughness. Cross-linked with amine curing agents, it can form a dense paint film with high cross-linking density. It has excellent chemical resistance and salt spray resistance, and plays an irreplaceable and important role in the field of industrial anti-corrosion. Epoxy resin is widely used in primers and intermediate paints of anticorrosive coatings because of its excellent mechanical properties and anticorrosive properties. Compared with other coatings, water-based epoxy resin coatings use water as the dispersion medium, do not contain organic solvents or have low volatile organic compound content, have no environmental pollution, have no fire hazards, and meet the current environmental protection requirements; water-based epoxy resin coatings It can also be mixed with other water-based polymer systems to complement each other in performance. Water-based epoxy resin can greatly reduce the VOC emissions of traditional solvent-based epoxy, and at the same time has anti-corrosion properties that are close to or even better than solvent-based epoxy. This project produced an epoxy resin dispersion emulsion with good storage stability, excellent corrosion resistance and water resistance. The emulsion obtained by this method has small particle size, good stability, excellent anti-corrosion properties, simple operation, and is conducive to industrial continuous production and production. The process includes aggregation, dispersion, etc.
