PTFE micro-powder wax is a white micro-powder resin. It is made from the dispersion obtained by the telomerization reaction of tetrafluoroethylene and then condensed, washed and dried. It has excellent properties such as excellent heat resistance, weather resistance, cold resistance, low friction, non-stickiness, chemical stability and electrical insulation properties. In addition, due to its small average particle size, it has good dispersibility and is easily blended with other materials evenly.
Micro-powder wax PTFE is a fluid white fluorine-containing additive composed of loosely agglomerated particles with a sub-micron structure. It is usually used as a processing aid for plastics and rubber (elastomers) to reduce the surface properties of the material, effectively improve the lubricity and wear resistance of the material, and has other properties of fluoropolymers.
Can be added to lubricants to improve performance stability in harsh environments. It can also be used alone as a dry lubricant, but it cannot be used to replace high molecular weight The PTFE suspension or dispersion resin is used for extrusion and molding processing.
PEFE micronized wax is inert to almost all chemicals and solvents, does not absorb water, and has good electrical insulation and weather resistance!
Main applications
Used as processing aid for plastics and rubber (elastomers)
Improve its lubricity, reduce friction and wear, and minimize surface defects of products during extrusion and injection molding.
Generally add 5%-20% by weight. Applicable materials include: polycarbonate (PC), polyamide (PA), polyester (PBT, PET, etc.), polyacetal (POM), polyimide (PI), polysulfone (PSU), etc.; rubber (Elastomers) include acrylates, fluoroelastomers, neoprene, nitrile rubber, and silicone rubber.
For lubricants
Improve the lubricity and service life of lubricants, especially in high-viscosity lubricants under high pressure, high temperature, and corrosive environments. The effect is significant.
Added to silicone, fluorosilicone and carbon compound-based lubricants, a smooth, uniform suspension can be obtained using traditional blending methods.
For printing ink
Improve ink friction resistance, surface slipperiness and gloss, and also reduce clogging.
The addition ratio is about 0.5-3% (weight ratio). Usually, PTFE micronized wax can be mixed with polyethylene wax to achieve better improvement results. PTFE micropowder wax has small particle size and narrow distribution. When used in coating systems, it can also effectively improve non-stickiness, reduce friction, improve wear resistance, improve corrosion resistance and reduce wetting.
