DOMO Jiaxing factory has taken a new step on the UL certification roadmap. Following multiple PA6 solutions, PA66 and high-temperature polyamide-based materials have also received formal certification from UL.
Both series receiving the new UL certification have undergone rigorous testing to ensure compliance with high performance standards.
The first series is TECHNYL® A 218 V30, which is a polyamide 66 material reinforced with 30% glass fiber. It is heat-resistant and stable, suitable for injection molding, and has yellow card certification UL94
HB grade (0.8mm and 3mm). These materials are market leaders in automotive thermal management systems and cooling system applications, and the material produced at DOMO’s Jiaxing factory has received a full set of UL certifications.
The second series is TECHNYL ONE® J 60X1 V30, which is a high-temperature polyamide based on a halogen-free flame retardant system and reinforced with 30% glass fiber. It has excellent fire resistance and thermal stability and is suitable for injection molding. This solution has a complete yellow card with UL94 V0 rating (0.4 mm) and has unparalleled thermal aging performance (150°C
Electrical RTI –
relative thermal index) and excellent electrical performance, including a high CTI index (voltage 600V and above). Compared with existing halogen-free high-temperature materials on the market, this material protects the service life of processing tools, reduces corrosion problems during the injection molding step, and offers strong advantages in terms of production efficiency and design freedom. This material is mainly targeted at connector applications in consumer electronics and home appliances, as well as high-voltage connectors in electric vehicles.
